15 minute Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Who loves a recipe that takes 15 minutes from start to finish? Who loves steak? If you answer yes to both of these, you need to add this to your to do list this week. These steak bites are perfect because you don’t have to cut them after they are finished and they are a perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth, main course for dinner. I also have been known to serve this as an appetizer with a horseradish dipping sauce.
Serve with a side of French fries for Pomme Frites and your family will think they are in the heart of France!
Garlic Butter Steak Bites:
Sirloin or Tenderloin Steak, (I prefer tenderloin) or whatever steak your family prefers (I get 1.5 to 2 pounds for my family of 5)
1T Olive Oil
4T butter
5 cloves garlic
salt and pepper
parsley(optional at the end)
Cut your steak in bite sized cubes and season with salt and pepper
Add 1T olive oil to skillet (I prefer a black iron skillet but you can use any skillet) Make sure your skillet is very hot, this is very important for getting a nice sear on the meat.
Cook meat for 2 minutes without moving, then turn for 1 min more until golden brown.
Add garlic and butter and cook for 1 minute making sure not to burn garlic.
Pour onto serving piece and garnish with parsley if needed. Serve and enjoy!
