Monkey Bread Muffins
One of my favorite breakfast treats when I was younger was the giant bundt cake monkey bread. This recipe tastes exactly the same but cuts the cooking time and work in half. It seems a little fancier than a muffin or biscuit. Add this recipe for a quick breakfast that is sure to please!
Ingredients:
1 can biscuits
4 Tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons cinnamon
Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons melted butter
4 Tablespoons cream or milk
Now let’s make it:
Cut biscuits in 1/4 pieces
Line muffin pan with cupcake liners
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl
Melt butter in a separate small bowl
Dip each piece of biscuit first in butter then in cinnamon sugar mixture, then place around 3 pieces in each muffin cup.
Bake at 350 for around 15 minutes depending on your oven
While the muffins are in the oven, make the icing.
Add two cups of powdered sugar to a bowl, add melted butter, vanilla, and milk .
Mix thoroughly
When muffins are finished pour icing on top of each muffin while they are hot.
